| Abstract: | Diplomovou prací je dětská kniha s názvem Světluška a svět a figurka hlavní postavy. Kniha vypráví příběh Světlušky, která se kvůli své touze létat dostala do nesnází, prožila napínavé putování a nakonec se jí její sen také splnil. Formát knihy je čtvercový, obálka barevná. V knize se střídají bílé strany s digitálně tištěným textem a modrými vinětami s nadpisy dotištěnými sítem, s modrými stranami celostránkových ilustrací. Ty jsou tištěny čtyřbarevným sítotiskem temnou barvou, dvěma odstíny bílé a efektovou barvou viditelnou pouze pod UV světlem. Kvůli tématu celé knihy jsem volila noční barevnost ilustrací, která celý příběh podtrhuje. Do figurky světlušky vyrobené z papíru je zabudována ultrafialová LED dioda, která slouží k prohlížení efektové barvy v ilustracích a odhaluje tak další skryté obrazy. |
| Abstract in different language: | This thesis represents an artist's book entitled Firefly and the World and a figurine of the main character. The book tells a story of Firefly, a female lightning bug, whose dream is to fly. In the pursuit of her dream, she gets into trouble and embarks on an exciting adventure which ends with her dream coming true. The book is in square format and it is bound in a colourful cover. The composition alternates between white pages with digitally printed text completed by blue vignettes with screen print headings, and blue pages containing full-page illustrations. The latter are printed by screen print, using a dark colour, two shades of white and a special-effect colour visible only under UV light. Night colours were chosen for the illustrations in order to emphasize the atmosphere of the story. The figurine of the firefly, which is made of paper, contains an in-built UV LED diode that enables to see the special-effect colour and discover images hidden in the original illustrations. |
