| Abstract: | Tématem diplomové práce je studenský softwarový projekt vývoje webové hry Space Traffic. Výsledná hra bude sloužit k propagaci katedry informatiky Západočeské univerzity mezi žáky středních škol. Motivem této práce je vytvořit ucelený pohled na průběh projektu po dobu tří let, od jeho vzniku po současnost. Dále pak shrnout a analyzovat získané zkušenosti studentů. Práce se zabývá i metodikami pro vývoj softwaru a poskytuje informace o platformě IBM Jazz a jejích nástrojích. Závěrem této práce je, že studenský softwarový projekt většího rozsahu je uskutečnitelný, ale má mnohá specifika vycházející z akademického prostředí. Vývoj probíhá pozvolna, protože jeho součástí je i proces získávání a předávání zkušeností mezi studenty, kteří v projektu působí. |
| Abstract in different language: | The subject of this diploma essey is the students' web game development project Space Traffic. After completion the game will be used for promotion of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of the University of West Bohemia at elementary schools. The motive of this project consists in an effort of providing a comprehensive view at the project progress in the course of three years, since its origins until the present time. In this essey we also summarize and analyse the acquired experience of the students, the software development methodology and the information on the IBM Jazz platform and its tools. We conclude that a students' software project of a greater extent is feasible, although it has many specifics originating from the academic background. The development is realized slowly, because its part is also presented by the process of gaining and sharing of experience among the students participating on the project. |
