| Abstract: | Projekt KIVFS je nová implementace distribuovaného souborového systému. Cílem této diplomové práce je přidání cache a podpory offline operací pro ovladač, který je vyvíjen pro tento systém pro operační systém GNU/Linux v knihovně FUSE. V teoretické části jsou popsány základní principy cache, některé nezbyté algoritmy pro udržení konzistence a algoritmy pro výběr souboru k vyřazení z cache v případě nedostatku místa. Návrh a implementace těchto změn jsou popsány v praktické části, ta obsahuje také testy funkčnosti cache. Součástí práce je také otestování výkonnosti ve srovnání se starší verzí. |
| Abstract in different language: | Project KIVFS is the new implementation of distributed filesystem. The goal of this diploma thesis is to add cache and offline operation support to driver for KIVFS. The driver is to run on GNU/Linux operation system with FUSE library. In the theoretical part of this work are describe the basic principles operations of cache, some necessary algorithms to keep cache consistence and some algorithms for choose file for delete when cache is full. Design and implementation of the improvements is realized in the practical part, including testing of the cache functionality. This work also consists of benchmark for comparison to older version of driver. |
