| dc.description.abstract | Cílem diplomové práce je navrhnout a vytvořit elektronický a tematický atlas zaměřený na hru geocaching. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část obsahuje analýzu odborné literatury, fakta o atlasech a jejich tvorbě. Prostor je dále věnován výhodám a rozdílům elektronických atlasů oproti tištěným publikacím. Poslední kapitola teoretické části se zabývá datovou žurnalistikou a jejím hodnocením z pohledu kartografie. Důvodem zařazení této kapitoly je vzájemná propojenost obou disciplín a narůstající výskyt datové žurnalistiky. Praktická část je složena z návrhu atlasu, tvorby atlasu a jeho popisu včetně popisu jednotlivých typů map. Výsledný atlas publikovaný na webu obsahuje interaktivní mapy, animace, doprovodné texty a grafy. Důležitou roli v rámci tvorby hrál jazyk JavaScript a knihovna D3.js. Atlas je cílen především na příznivce geocachingu, ale může být využit i širokou veřejností. Text práce je možné využít také jako metodický materiál při návrhu elektronického atlasu a jeho tvorbě. | cs |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | The aim of this diploma thesis is to design and create electronic and thematic atlas focused on game named geocaching. The thesis is dividend into two parts theoretical and practical. The theoretical part contains an scientific literature analysis, facts about atlases and their creation. There is a part of thesis dedicated to the benefits and differences of electronic atlases over printed publications. The last chapter of the theoretical part deals with data journalism and its evaluation from the field of cartography. The reason of this chapter is the mutual interconnection of both disciplines and the increasing occurrence of data journalism. The practical part consists of the design of the atlas, than the creation of the atlas and its description and the description of the individual types of maps. The final atlas, which is published on the web, contains interactive maps, animations, accompanying texts and charts. The JavaScript language and the D3.js library take an important role in the production. The atlas is intended mainly for enthusiasts of the game geocaching, but can be also used by the general public. The text of the thesis can also be used as auxiliary material for design and creation of electronic atlases. | en |
