| Abstract: | Tato práce poskytuje primární vhled do problematiky vývoje utváření evropské identity a předních konceptů evropské integrace v první polovině 20. století. Pojetí evropské identity je úzce spjato s evropskou integrací, proto jsou tato dvě témata rozebírána paralelně vedle sebe. Problematika evropské integrace není, otázkou vývoje po druhé světové válce, ba naopak tato idea vznikla mnohem dříve. Proto se práce zabývá prvotními ucelenějšími integračními koncepty přelomu 18. a 19. století. Cílem práce je rovněž zachycení vývoje pojetí evropské identity, tento proces utváření evropského povědomí mapuje již od antiky. |
| Abstract in different language: | The thesis provides primary insights into the development of the European identity formation and major concepts of the European integration in the first half of the 20th century. As the concept of European identity is closely related to the European integration, these two topics are analyzed simultaneously. The issue of European integration dates from much earlier than after WWII. Therefore, this work deals with the first coherent integration concepts at the turn of the 18th and the 19th century. The work also reflects the evolution of the concept of European identity, thus it attempts to map this formation process of European awareness since the ancient times. |
