Abstract:	Příspěvek sleduje život a dílo předního odborníka v oboru lingvodidaktiky, doc. Jaroslava Jelínka, CSc., který přetvořil prakticistní disciplínu ve vědeckou, řadou svých prací položil základy teorie vyučování českému jazyku. Představuje ho jako významného autora učebnic pro 1. a 2. stupeň školy od 40. let 20. století až do jeho konce.
Abstract in different language:	The contribution concerns life and works of a leading specialist in the field of linguodidactics, doc. Jaroslav Jelínek, CSc., who changed a practical field into a scientific one and laid the foundations of the Czech language teaching theory by the set of his works. The text presents him as an important author of textbooks for elementary and primary school from the 1940´ till the end of the 20th century.
