| Abstract: | Jako zadání své diplomové práce jsem si vybrala autorskou knihu. Minerály jsem vždy považovala za něco unikátního, jak ze strany procesu vzniku, tak s přesahem do léčitelství a v neposlední řadě jako příklad vizuální dokonalosti. Tvary a textury kamenů mi přišly natolik zajímávé a inspirativní, že se staly stěžejním prvkem při tvorbě knihy. Vyselektovala jsem určité nerosty, na které následně graficky reagovala a pro jasnější komunikaci ponechala původní fotografii. Díky tvarovému vyjádření, jsem charakterizovala každý z minerálů a prostřednictvím tvarů a textur zacílila na divákovi emoce. Pro umocnění prožitku, jsem zvolila černobílou barevnost a vytvořila tak maximální kontrast. Grafické kompozice jsem doplnila o text s názvem jednotlivého minerálu a o japonské haiku. Každému minerálu jsem přiřadila haiku na základě subjektivního pocitu. Každá báseň tak doplňuje kompozici a ponechává prostor pro vlastní fantazii. Pro prezentaci knihy jsem navrhla tři plakáty, pohlednice a záložky. Při jejich tvorbě jsem využila grafik, které se v knize objevují. Je na nich umístěné logo Authentic shape disguised. Tento název vznikl inspirací jednou z haiku, která se v knize objevuje. Název odkazuje na proces tvorby, kterým byly grafiky navrženy. |
| Abstract in different language: | For the assignment of my thesis I have chosen the author's book. I have always thought of minerals as something unique, both from the process of creation and from their visual perfection. The shapes and textures of the stones came to me interesting and inspiring so much that they have become the pivotal element in creating this book. I have chosen certain minerals, which to I subsequently graphically responded while kept the original photo for clearer communication. Thanks to its shape, I have characterized each of the minerals and, through the shapes and textures I have focused on the viewer's emotions. To enhance the experience, I have chosen black and white colour to create maximum contrast. I supplemented the graphic compositions with haiku poems about the minerals. I assigned the haiku poem to each mineral based on a subjective feeling. Each poem complements the composition and leaves room for one's own imagination. For the presentation of the book, I designed three posters, postcards and bookmarks for which I used graphics that appear in the book. There is also a "Authentic shape disguised" logo. This name was inspired by one of the haiku that appears in the book. The name refers to the creation process that the graphics were designed for. |
