Abstract:	Ako tému mojej diplomovej práce som si zvolil TRENDY, STYL A VIZE - VLASTNÍ TÉMA Autorská kolekce. Ucelená kolekce oděvů a doplňků. Táto téma mi umožnila preskúmať oblasť udržateľnej módy z rôznych pohľadov. Mal som možnosť tak predostrieť moju vlastnú verziu enviromentálne šetrných odevov a doplnkov, pokúsil som sa vytvoriť výrazný vizuálny štýl odevu s racionálne zvolenými funkčnými prvkami. Táto práca by tiež mala ukázať smer, ktorým sa budem uberať po ukončení štúdia. Túto kolekciu som nazval ISLE OF MAN podľa piesne od kapely Ministry, ktorá nesie silné enviromentálne posolstvo a reprezentuje túto prácu. Kolekcia pozostáva z troch úplných outfitov vrátane obuvi a doplnkov. Jednotlivé kusy sú inšpirované historickými armádnymi uniformami. Odkazujem na rôzne funkčné a estetické prvky vojenských odevov. Používal som prírodné materiály, ktoré som ručne farbil aby ladili s kamuflážou, ktorú navrhol pre túto prácu Samuel Frk. Vzory sú inšpirované prírodným prostredím a majú za úlohu maskovať počas prechádzok alebo ľahkej turistiky v prírode. Niektoré odevy a doplnky sú navosované aby chránili pred dažďom a vetrom. Hlavným cieľom bolo navrhnúť odevy funkčné jednak v meste ale aj v lesoch a horách. Materály a technológie boli vyberané s ohľadom na ich šetrnosť k životnému prostrediu.
Abstract in different language:	The theme of my thesis is TRENDS, STYLE AND VISION - OWN TOPIC Author's collection. A comprehensive collection of clothing and accessories. This theme allowed me to explore the theme of sustainability in fashion, which was my main focus. I was able to present my own idea of environmentally friendly clothing and I tried to create a distinctive visual style with carefully considered functional features. This work should also point to a direction I am steering towards regarding my post study future. I named this collection ISLE OF MAN after the song by the band Ministry. This song carries a strong environmental message which represents this project. The collection consists of three full outfits including footwear and accessories. The garments are heavily influenced by vintage military equipment. Various military functional and aesthetic features are referenced throughout the collection. I used natural cotton fabrics which I hand dyed to match the colour of custom designed camoflage patterns created by Samuel Frk. The patterns are inspired by natural environments and are meant to conceal the wearer during walks in forests or mountains. Several pieces were waxed to protect against rain and stormy weather. The idea was to design a clothing that would be functional in city just as well as in the natural environments. The materials and technologies were chosen to be the environmentally less harmful than the synthetic alternatives.
