| Abstract: | Disertační práce se pokouší navrhnout vhodnou metodologii pro diachronickou analýzu vývoje krajiny a transformace Ager Castronovano (Lazio, střední Itálie). Tím, že kombinuje širokou škálu zdrojů, rekonstruuje osídlení a rozvoj rurální a kulturní krajiny, odhaluje kontinuitu nebo diskontinuitu osídlení a identifikuje hlavní procesy změny a korelaci s historickými událostmi. Práce zohlednila dříve publikovaná data a obohatila archeologický datový soubor o vlastní empirický výzkum. Vytvořila model kulturní krajiny, identifikovala dosud neznámé lokality a vyhodnotila určující faktory, které ovlivňovaly formování sídel a rozvoj krajiny. Metodika odhalila archeologický soubor dat, včetně 256 komponent rozdělených do 11 chronologických kategorií od pravěku po moderní období a 31 typologických kategorií podle funkčnosti. Výsledky odhalily vysoký archeologický potenciál krajiny Ager Castronovano, osvětlily její diachronický vývoj i lidské činnosti, okolnosti a tendence, které ji ovlivňovaly. Výsledný soubor dat lze doplnit v dalším výzkumem, například za použití dalších sofistikovaných moderních metod průzkumu. |
| Abstract in different language: | My thesis attempts to suggest the suitable methodology for a diachronic analysis of the landscape development and transformation of Ager Castronovano (Lazio, central Italy). Combining a wide range of sources, it reconstructs settlement and the rural landscape development, revealing the continuity or discontinuity of occupation, and identifies the main processes of change, and correlation with historical events. The thesis took into account previously published data and enriched the archaeological dataset with own empiric research. It produced the cultural landscape model, identified so far unknown sites, and evaluated the determining factors behind settlement formation and landscape development. The methodology here presented brought to the light the archaeological data set, including the 256 components divided into 11 chronological categories from the prehistory to the modern period and 31 typological categories according to the functionality of components. The results revealed the high archaeological potential of the landscape of Ager Castronovano, illuminated its diachronic development as well as the human activities, conditions and tendencies that influenced it. Finally, the resulting dataset can be mined for information in further research, for example, that involving other sophisticated modern methods of survey. |
