| Abstract: | Diplomová práce pojednává o osobnosti vynikajícího českého právníka generála prof. JUDr. Bohuslava Ečera, který se velkou měrou zasloužil o potrestání válečných zločinců u Norimberského soudního tribunálu. Kapitoly jsou seřazeny chronologicky. Nejdříve se práce zaměřuje na dětství a mládí Bohuslava Ečera. Dále je pozornost zaměřena na Ečerovu činnost před emigrací i za emigrace, a to zvláště ve Velké Británii v Komisi Spojených národů pro vyšetřování válečných zločinců a Mezinárodním sdružení právníků. Pátá kapitola pojednává o stíhání válečných zločinců. Práci Bohuslava Ečera u Norimberského soudního tribunálu je věnována kapitola šestá. Poté se již diplomová práce zaměřuje na období po norimberských procesech a závěr Ečerova života. |
| Abstract in different language: | This thesis deals with the personality of an excellent Czech lawyer Bohuslav Ečer, who largely contributed to the punishment of the war criminals at the International Military Tribunal in Nuremberg. The chapters are arranged chronologically. First, the thesis focuses on the childhood and youth of Bohuslav Ečer. Further attention is focused on Ečers activities before his emigration and after that, especially in the United Kingdom in the United Nations Commission for the Investigation of War Crimes and London International Assembly. The fifth chapter deals with the prosecution of war criminals. The work of Bohuslav Ečer at the International Military Tribunal is devoted to chapter six. After that, the thesis focuses on the period after the Nuremberg trials and the end of Ečers life. |
