| Abstract: | Cílem předkládané diplomové práce je poskytnout vhled do problematiky sexuality seniorů v domovech pro seniory optikou poskytovatelů sociálních služeb. Zda a jakým způsobem je sexualita v tomto prostředí diskutována a jaké jsou postoje pečovatelů k tomuto tématu. Dílčím cílem je pak zaměření na LGBT seniory, jakožto potencionální klienty domovů pro seniory. Postoje a přímé zkušenosti s touto specifickou skupinou seniorů ze strany pečovatelů. Práce je členěna na dvě části. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na proces stáří a sexualitu seniorů, kteří jsou reflektováni, jako desexualizovaná skupina, dále pak LGBT seniory a v neposlední řadě na koncepci domovů pro seniory v kontextu totální instituce. Empirická část staví na kvalitativním výzkumu, jenž vychází z patnácti polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s poskytovateli sociální služeb, které mapují jejich postoje a názory. Pomocí tematické analýzy jsou následně identifikována stěžejní témata, která z rozhovorů vyplývají. |
| Abstract in different language: | The aim of the presented diploma thesis is to provide insight into the issue of sexuality of seniors in homes for the elderly through the lens of social service providers. Whether and how sexuality is discussed in this environment and what are the attitudes of caregivers on this topic. A partial goal is to focus on LGBT seniors as potential clients of homes for the elderly. Attitudes and direct experiences with this specific group of seniors on the part of caregivers. The work is divided into two parts. The theoretical part focuses on the process of old age and sexuality of seniors, who are reflected as a desexualized group, then LGBT seniors and last but not least on the concept of homes for the elderly in the context of a total institution. The empirical part builds on qualitative research, which is based on fifteen semi-structured interviews with social service providers, which map their attitudes and opinions. With the help of thematic analysis, the key topics that result from the interviews are then identified. |
