| Abstrakt: | Příspěvek se zabývá měřením velikosti pohárů kultury zvoncovitých pohárů a možným účelem těchto artefaktů. Soubor se skládá z hrobových nálezů publikovaných pro území Čech a Moravy. Cílem výzkumu bylo zjistit, zda velikost nádob odráží genderovou, věkovou a regionální diferenciaci. Použitá metodologie počítá s matematickým vyjádřením objemu nádob na základě jejich generalizovaného modelu. |
| Abstrakt v dalším jazyce: | This work deals with volumes of Bell Beakers. The work is based on published findings from Bohemia and Moravia. The main focus is to try determine whether the volume of Bell Beaker reflect regional, gender and age differentiation of Bell Beaker Culture. The methodology is based on the mathematical expression of Bell Beakers based on their generalized model. One of the main results are graphs containing information about Bell Beakers volumes. Another result of my investigation is evaluation of a differences between the volumes of male and female Bell Beakers. Moreover, I have discribed the individual gender groups and their relations to the volumes. From the analysis of measured number of 85 cups belonging to Bell Beaker culture is evident that volume was not random aspect. Generally, larger size and the presence of multiple pieces of cups in the same grave suggests that the cup could be perceived more as a masculine attribute in the graves of women and children and perform a symbolic meaning. We must also remember that there are only a fractions of the graves of men, women and children in the Bell Beaker Culture. |
