| Abstract: | Výsledným produktem je jídelní stůl o rozměrech 1600x1000x790 jehož hlavním prvkem je stolová deska zhotovená z dýhovaného korku. Ten je po obou stranách opatřen jasanovou dýhou 1mm. Ocelová konstrukce je vyrobena z jäklů o rozměrech 30x20x2mm. Desku ke konstrukci připevňují ocelové hřebeny, které je možno libovolně posunovat po délce stolu vždy od kraje do poloviny. Hřebeny je také možné posunout po šířce stolu, je však dobré tak učinit ještě před samotným vložením desky. A tvarovat tak desku postupně. Kvůli vysoké pevnosti materiálu však nelze desku prohýbat příliš, je možné vytvořit pouze drobné prohyby. |
| Abstract in different language: | As the diploma thesis I chose Table as a household symbol. I was interested in this theme because of its possibilities of representing families values. Another reason was that I wanted to design something i could realize - real product or furniture. During the process of research and sketching was really important to find the right way approach to the topic. It was not so easy I thought before, so I changed my idea few times until I considered it as best one. Because for me and my family is dining table the place we meet and each member as there his own seat I finally decided to work with these seats. The purpose of my diploma thesis is to design kitchen table which reflects some household. Also I wanted to work with some interesting material. So after experiments with foam rubber and silicone a chose combination of cork and veneer. I used these materials for the table desk. The base is made of steel. These projects builds on my previous one called Annual rings. |
