| Abstract: | Tématem této diplomové práce jsou jazykové strategie a motivace rodičů migrantů v České republice. Cílem práce je porozumět jazykovým strategiím, které používají rodiče migranti při výchově svých dětí, a ukázat, jaké faktory motivují rodiče migranty k výchově bilingvních dětí. Teoretická část práce přináší definici a různé typologie bilingvismu, popisuje řečové charakteristiky bilingvních jedinců, ilustruje rodinné strategie výchovy bilingvního dítěte, zkoumá faktory motivující rodiče, představuje možné klady a zápory bilingvní výchovy. Empirická část popisuje data získaná pomoci polostrukturovaných rozhovorů se šesti rodinami migrantů. |
| Abstract in different language: | The topic of this master's thesis is family language strategies and motivations of migrant parents in the Czech Republic. The aim of the thesis is to understand the language strategies used by migrant parents in raising their children and to show what factors motivate migrant parents to raise bilingual children. The theoretical part of the paper provides a definition and different typologies of bilingualism, describes speech characteristics of bilingual people, illustrates family strategies of raising a bilingual child, examines factors motivating parents, presents possible pros and cons of bilingual education. The empirical part describes the data collected in semi-structured interviews with six migrant families. |
