| Abstract: | Ve svém závěrečném díle jsem se rozhodla pracovat s myšlenku memento mori. Pamatuj na smrt, též pamatuj na pomíjivost svého bytí. Uchopila jsem prastarou myšlenku spojení jedu a šperku a ztvárnila ji v nové podobě. Ruku v ruce s tradičním bylinným travičstvím a pohledem doslova přes plot do českého hřbitova. Stvořila jsem sérii šperků, která stojí na hraně světů života a smrti. Šperky, jejichž obsah může zabít stejně jako může léčit, jak stará moudrost praví: "Jen dávkování rozhoduje, co je jedem, a co lékem." Výsledkem mé tvorby je kolekce sedmi šperků, které nesou v srdci onen jed či lék. |
| Abstract in different language: | In my final piece, I decided to work with the idea of memento mori. Remember death, also remember the transience of your being. I took the ancient idea of the combination of poison and jewelry and rendered it in its current form. Hand in hand with traditional herbal poisoning and a view literally over the fence into the Czech cemetery. I created a series of jewelry that stands on the edge of the worlds of life and death. Jewelry whose contents can kill as well as heal, as the old wisdom says: "Only the dosage decides what is poison and what is medicine." The result of my creation is a series of seven jewels that carry that poison or medicine in their heart. |
