| Abstract: | Výstupem tohoto finálním projektu jsou dvě audiovizuální práce. Tyto dva projekty spojuje otázka identity a zobrazení kreativního procesu. Otázka identity mě provází celým pětiletým studiem v ateliéru Nových médií. První část této práce je video. Ve videu jsou prezentovány čtyři tekutiny: slzy, krev, sperma a sliny. Tyto tekutiny nesou symbolický význam tento význam se samozřejmně může měnit. Příkladem vyložení může být například:slzy-emoce, krev-život, sliny-komunikace, sperma-plodnost. Divák pozoruje proudící lidský buňky pod mikroskopem. Lidské buňky jsou z pohledu sémiotiky brány jako symbolická reprezentace a identita jedince. Toto indikace slouží jako jeden z bodů pro zkoumání identity. Záznam z mikroskopu byl následně upraven pomocí volně dostupného AI programu. Tento program dokáže rozeznat "chybné" záznamy a ty z videa vymaže. To přináší další otázku authenticity tvůrčího procesu. V druhé části tohoto projektu experimentuji s video performancí. Zde jsem se zaměřila na zobrazení kreativního procesu a jeho plynnost. Tato performance je koncipována jako sekvence akcí, které vedou ke vzniku dvou videí, jež jsou prezentována vedle sebe. Akce tvoří cyklus opakujícího se sbírání objektů z pláže a jejich vhazování do vodní hladiny. Prezentace těchto dvou videí vedle sebe umožňuje divákovi porovnání a zároveň zobrazuje obrazovou symetričnost, nadsázku a neustálý cyklus opakujících se akcí. Video je doprovázeno audiem, ve kterém jsou slyšet hlasy lidí a plynoucí voda. Audio doprovod videí zahrnuje hlasy lidí a zvuk plynoucí vody, což vytváří příjemnou atmosféru a zároveň zdůrazňuje nekonečný cyklus kreativního procesu. Věřím, že tato práce může otevřít debatu o autenticitě uměleckém procesu a dále zobrazení umělecké identity v rychle se měnícím světě digitálního umění. |
| Abstract in different language: | The outcome of this final project consists of two audiovisual works. These two projects are connected by the question of identity and the depiction of the creative process. The question of identity has accompanied me throughout my five-year studies in the New Media ateliér. The first part of this project is video. This video presents four fluids: tears, blood, saliva, and sperm. These fluids carry symbolic meanings, which can naturally vary. For example, tears may represent emotions, blood - life, saliva - communication, and semen - fertility. The viewer observes flowing human cells under the microscope. From a semiotic perspective, human cells are regarded as symbolic representations of individual identity. This indication serves as one of the points for exploring identity. The microscope footage was subsequently edited using freely available AI software. This program can identify "incorrect" recordings and remove them from the video, raising further questions about the authenticity of the creative process. In the second part of this project, I explore video performance. I am focused on depicting the creative process and its fluidity. This performance is conceived as a sequence of actions, leading to the creation of two videos that are presented side by side. The actions form a cycle of repeated actions collecting objects from the beach and then tossing them into the water. Presenting these two videos side by side allows the audience to compare and also showcases visual symmetry, exaggeration, and the continuous cycle of repetitive actions. The video is accompanied by audio, in which voices of people and the sound of flowing water can be heard. This audio accompaniment creates a pleasant atmosphere while emphasizing the infinite cycle of the creative process. I believe that this work can initiate a debate about the authenticity of the artistic process and further explore the portrayal of artistic identity in the rapidly changing world of digital art. |
