dc.description.abstractBakalářská práce zkoumá, jak je nizozemská administrativa vnímána v nizozemských zámořských teritoriích a jaké prvky posléze ovlivňují výkony a fungování administrativy. S pomocí komparativní metody se zkoumá situace šesti nizozemských zámořských území: Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, Saba, Sint Eustatius a Sint Maarten. Výzkum čerpá z kvalitativních i kvantitativních dat shromážděných například prostřednictvím průzkumů, rozhovorů, analýzy dokumentů, referend apod. Zjištění naznačují, že správu nizozemských zámořských území ovlivňuje několik faktorů, včetně identity obyvatel, ekonomického indexu na ostrovech, kultury a místní politiky. Tyto faktory mají vliv na schopnost administrativy získat si legitimitu a reagovat na potřeby a preference místního obyvatelstva. Práce ukazuje, že žádný z ostrovů není zcela spokojen se současnou správou, přesto se v jistých případech, v pár posledních letech, spolupráce mezi ostrovy a Nizozemskem zlepšila, což naznačuje, že navzdory výzvám existuje prostor pro dosáhnutí společného koncensu. Celkově tato práce zkoumá vnímání nizozemské správy v nizozemských zámořských územích a zdůrazňuje důležitost zohlednění tamních faktorů při navrhování a implementaci účinných veřejných politik.cs

dc.description.abstract-translatedThe bachelor's thesis examines how the Dutch administration is perceived in the Dutch overseas territories and which elements subsequently influence the performance and functioning of the administration. Using a comparative method, the situation of six Dutch overseas territories is examined: Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, Saba, Sint Eustatius and Sint Maarten. The research draws on qualitative and quantitative data collected through, for example, surveys, interviews, document analysis, referendums, etc. The findings suggest that several factors influence the governance of the Dutch overseas territories, including the identity of the inhabitants, the economic index on the islands, culture and local politics. These factors influence the ability of the administration to gain legitimacy and respond to the needs and preferences of the local population. The thesis shows that none of the islands are entirely satisfied with the current administration, yet in some cases, in the last few years, cooperation between the islands and the Netherlands has improved, suggesting that despite the challenges, there is room for reaching common ground. Overall, this paper examines the perceptions of Dutch governance in the Dutch overseas territories and highlights the importance of taking into account local factors when designing and implementing effective public policies.
