| Abstract: | Téma mé práce se zaměřuje na zkoumání identity a sounáležitosti prostřednictvím spojení historických tradic s moderním životem. Mé umělecké snahy se soustředí na vyjádření procesu osobního růstu a poznání sebe sama v kontextu různých kultur a zkušeností z cestování. Plánuji vytvořit tři menší ručně vyšívané ubrusy, které budou inspirovány vzory starých českých ubrusů po mé babičce, jež nesou v sobě bohatství tradice a historie. Kombinací charakteristických vzorů českého folklóru s ikonickými logy tří japonských řetězců samoobslužných obchodů - Lawson, FamilyMart a Seven Eleven. |
| Abstract in different language: | The theme of my work focuses on exploring identity and belonging through the connection of historical traditions with modern life. My artistic endeavors center around expressing the process of personal growth and self-discovery in the context of various cultures and travel experiences. I plan to create three smaller hand-embroidered tablecloths inspired by patterns of old Czech tablecloths from my grandmother, which carry the richness of tradition and history. By combining characteristic patterns of Czech folklore with the iconic logos of three Japanese convenience store chains - Lawson, FamilyMart, and Seven Eleven. |
