dc.description.abstractTématem této bakalářské práce je role britské monarchie v 21. století. Práce je rozdělena do tří hlavních částí. První část je zaměřena na historii britské monarchie s ohledem na skutečnost, že každá historická událost významně ovlivnila současnou podobu monarchie a přispěla k jejímu zachování až do dnešních dnů. Druhá část popisuje rysy současné britské monarchie a také obecné tendence naznačující její příští vývoj. Třetí část této práce je praktická a sestává se z vlastního výzkumu, ve kterém jsou zhodnoceny názory Britů na otázku zachování jejich monarchie i v 21. století.cs

dc.description.abstract-translatedThe topic of this undergraduate thesis is the role of the British monarchy in the 21st century. The thesis is divided into three main parts. The first part is focused on the history of the British monarchy, with regard to the fact that every historic event considerably influenced the current shape of the monarchy and contributed to its maintenance to the present day. The second part describes contemporary features of the British monarchy and general tendencies of its further development. The third part of the thesis is practical and comprises of an original piece of research, which appraises opinions of the British on the question of preserving their monarchy in the 21st century.en
