| Abstract: | Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce bylo posoudit dosavadní poznatky o vztahu mezi nezaměstnaností a zdravím. Práce podává komplexnější pohled na současný celospolečenský negativní fenomén, kterým je nezaměstnanost, a poukazuje na problémy z ní plynoucích, v našem případě zejména zdravotních. Vztah nezaměstnanosti a zdraví není tvořen jednoduchou kauzální linkou, jelikož nedobrovolná ztráta placené práce způsobuje kumulaci více nepříznivých a navzájem se podmiňujících a ovlivňujících faktorů. Adaptace jedince na obtížné situace, mezi něž lze samozřejmě zařadit i fenomén nezaměstnanosti, je ryze individuální záležitostí každého člověka. Proto předkládaný text identifikuje sociologické faktory moderující vztah mezi zdravím a (ne)zaměstnaností, jako je socioekonomický status, oddanost svému zaměstnání, věk, gender, regionální míra nezaměstnanosti a sociální podpora. Právě tyto proměnné zprostředkovávají důsledky nezaměstnanosti, které způsobují širokou různorodost jejího dopadu na zdraví. Z těchto důvodů je tudíž nelze ze sociologického pohledu opomíjet, jelikož rozhodují o úspěchu adaptace na tento fenomén. |
| Abstract in different language: | The main purpose of this bachelor thesis was to review current knowledge about the relationship between unemployment and health. Its objective was an attempt to provide more comprehensive view of the current social negative phenomenon, which is unemployment, and to outline the problems resulting from it, in our case that would be especially health. The relationship of unemployment and health is not a simply causal one since involuntary job loss causes accumulation of adverse and mutually conditioning and influencing factors. Adaptation of individual to difficult situations like unemployment is influenced by individual characteristics. Therefore the text identifies sociological factors which moderate the relationship between health and employment status. These include socioeconomic status, employment commitment, age, gender, regional unemployment rate, social support. These are the variables that mediate the effects of unemployment, which cause a wide variety of its impact on health. For these reasons, from a sociological point of view, we cannot ignore them, since they decide about the success of adaptation to this phenomenon. |
