| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematickými vztahy mezi Tureckem a Arménií, dvěma sousedícími zeměmi, které kvůli historickým a geopolitickým důvodům nejsou schopné navázat diplomatické vztahy. V první části představuji Turecko a Arménii v historickém kontextu jako země, které sdílí mnoho společných prvků, ale zároveň jsou i rozdílné. V následujících kapitolách popíši hlavní faktory, které negativně ovlivňují vzájemné vztahy. Těmi jsou: konflikt o Náhorní Karabach, Arménská genocida a neuznávání hranic ze strany Arménie. Poté zmiňuji takzavnou "fotbalovou diplomacii" ze září 2008, která vedla k podepsání dvou protokolů o navázání diplomatických vztahů v říjnu 2009. Následně poukazuji na reakce a názory turecké a arménské společnosti. V poslední kapitole vybírám nejdůležitější útvary, které jsou zapojeny do normalizace turecko-arménských vztahů. Jedná se o arménskou diasporu, organizace složené z Turků i Arménů, kteří spolupracují v kulturních a obchodních záležitostech, a Evropskou unii. Cílem této práce je popsat, co je špatně mezi Tureckem a Arménií; jak začalo jejich nepřátelství a jaké kroky by se měly podniknout ke zlepšení vzájemných vztahů. |
| Abstract in different language: | This bachelor thesis deals with the problematic relations between Turkey and Armenia, two neighbour states which due to the historic background and geopolitical reasons are not able to establish diplomatic relations. In the first part I present Turkey and Armenia in a historical context as two countries which share many common elements but are so different at the same time. In the next chapters I describe the main factors which negatively influence their mutual relations. These are ? The Nagorno Karabakh Conflict, the Armenian Genocide case and the Border dispute. Then I mention the so-called football diplomacy from September 2008 which led to the signing of two Protocols on establishing relations in October 2009. Afterwards I show the reactions and opinions of Turkish and Armenian society. In the very last chapter I choose the main units which are taking part in the normalization of Turkey-Armenia relationship. We talk about the Armenian diaspora, than about organizations composed by Turks and Armenians which cooperate in cultural and business issues and in the end about the European Union. The aim of this thesis is to describe what is wrong between Turkey and Armenia; how these hostility began and which steps are taken in developement of bilateral relations. |
