Pojednává nejen o širokém spektru zájmů Filipa II. a o řadě významných intelektuálů v jeho službách, ale také se zaměřuje na rozbor konkrétní spolupráce Filipa II. s jedním z nejvýznamnějších humanistů své doby, Benitem Ariasem Montanem. |
| Abstract in different language: | The main theme of this thesis is the mutual subvention between the monarch and important scholars at the royal court of the Spanish king Philip II. Discusses not only the wide range of interests of Philip II. and a number of prominent intellectuals in his services, but also focuses on the analysis of specific cooperation of Philip II. with one of the leading humanists of his time, Benito Arias Montano. |
