| Abstract: | Bezpečnost pacienta je jedním z hlavních úkolů každého zdravotnického zařízení poskytující kvalitní zdravotní péči. Zajištění kvalitní a bezpečné péče pacienta v prostorách operačních sálů je prvořadým úkolem každého zdravotnického zařízení. Proto je důležité věnovat pozornost potencionálním rizikům a pochybením při poskytování zdravotní péče na operačním sále. Jedním z nejčastějších rizik je záměna pacienta, výkonu a strany při chirurgických operacích. Eliminaci těchto rizik dokáže zabránit dostatečně kvalifikovaný a erudovaný personál a jeho znalosti a vědomosti související se zajištěním kvalitní a bezpečné péče na operačním sále. K tomu výrazně přispívá zavedení resortních bezpečnostních cílů vydané MZ ČR pomocí správně nastavených interních postupů ve zdravotnickém zařízení. |
| Abstract in different language: | Improving patient safety is one of the greatest imperatives to make the community healthcare system truly safe in the surgical environment today. The main daily challenge of healthcare settings is to provide subjects with quality patient care and operating room safety in the working environment of the operating rooms. More importantly, we have to pay more attention to potential latent risk factors and possible errors in the implementation of health care in the operating theatre. When the patient enters the operative suite one of the most often specific errors are wrong-site surgery, wrong-person, and wrong-procedure. Steps to eliminate and prevent these errors have been recommended starting with highly trained and educated members of the health care staff ensuring patient safety and optimal patient´s care in the operating room. Establishment of a global system approach for patient safety by the Ministery of Health of the Czech Republic across sectors and systems considerably advances effective strategies and leading practices in cooperation with internal procedures to improve patient safety in the medical setting. |
