Obsahuje úvod, šest kapitol, závěr, seznam použité literatury, resumé a obrázkové přílohy. | cs |

dc.description.abstract-translated | This bachelor thesis deals with the development of the British Conservative Party since the beginning of the 19th century until the current conservative government of David Cameron. It started with the reflections of the British political thinker and philosopher Edmund Burke on the Glorious French Revolution. He summed up his ideas in his Reflections on the Revolution in France and these became the cornerstone of the Conservative Party which later became one of the two biggest British political parties. During the 19th century it stood against Liberal Party and during most of the 20th century against the Labour Party. This bachelor thesis examines the historical milestones as well as the most important leaders, e. g. Robert Peel, Benjamin Disraeli, Winston Churchill or Margaret Thatcher. It includes an introduction, six chapters, a conclusion, a list of references, a summary and a few additional materials. | en |
