| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá hororovými prvky ve vybraných titulech světové autorské pohádky. Cílem práce je popsat a analyzovat hororové prvky v pohádkách, tedy charakterizovat postupy, jimiž je dosahováno hrůzostrašné atmosféry, a motivy, pomocí kterých jsou vyvolávány pocity strachu, napětí, děsu a úzkosti. Pohádky jsou primárně určeny dětským čtenářům, jsou tedy psány s ohledem na potřeby a psychiku těchto recipientů. Proto lze očekávat, že v nich nebudou obsaženy strašidelné motivy a jevy vyvolávající hrůzu. Tato práce ovšem na základě interpretace pěti světových autorských pohádek (Malá mořská víla, Divoké labutě, Sněhová královna,Čarodějnice,Koralina dokazuje, že se v pohádkách hororové prvky objevují a mají zde své oprávněné místo. |
| Abstract in different language: | This dissertation deals with the horror elements in selected titles of contemporary fairy tales. The main objective is the analysis of horror elements incorporated in these fairy tales, that is, to characterize the methods of achieving the terrifying atmosphere and themes which cause the feelings of fear, tension, dread and worry. Fairy tales are primarily intended for young readers. They are therefore written in a way considering the needs and psyche of these recipients. This way it is expected that they won't contain any frightening themes and effects causing terror. This study although proves, on the basis of interpretation of five well known contemporary fairy tales (The Little Mermaid, Wild Swans, The Snow Queen, The Witch, Coraline), that horror elements are definitely included and have their rightful place in these titles. Some tales are even built upon a terrifying atmosphere. |
