| Abstract: | Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část se skládá z 10 kapitol, které dále obsahují podkapitoly. Kapitoly jsou zaměřeny na dějiny rasismu, českému boji proti rasismu, českému pojetí rasismu a diskriminace, extrémistickým hnutím, předsudkům, lidským rasám, národnostním menšinám v České republice a také multikulturní výchově. Praktická část se skládá z dotazníkového šetření. Dotazníky s 21 otázky byly rozdány do tří základních škol v Ostrově, celkové jich bylo použitelných 231 z 300. Pomocí dotazníkového šetření jsem se snažila objasnit ti cíle této diplomové práce. První si klade za cíl zjistit, zda má mužské pohlaví výraznější sklony k rasismu než pohlaví ženské, druhý cíl chce zjistit, odkud se žáci šestých až devátých tříd dozvídají a informují o rasismu a tím i o rasových předsudcích a třetí cíl se zaměřil na to, jak děti vnímají jiné národnosti, jejich pozitivní a negativní stránky a celkově, jaký k nim mají vztah. |
| Abstract in different language: | Theme of my thesis is Racism in a primary schools in Czech Republic. Racism in our society is deeply rooted and its beginning dates back to the Middle Ages. The society, where racism lies is a surrounding that provides living space for intolerance, discrimination, fear, violence and prejudices. My work is focused on racism in primary schools, because in last decades we can recognize the bigger number of students with foreign origin, using our school system. The work is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part consists of 10 chapters. Chapters are devoted to the topics that covers evolution of racism as a topic in modern Czech society. Particular chapters are: History of racism, Czech fight against racism, Czech conception of racism and discrimination, extremist movements, obvious prejudices in Czech society, human races, ethnic minorities in the Czech Republic and multicultural education. The practical part consists of a questionnaire survey. Questionnaires with 21 questions were distributed to three primary schools in Ostrov, where a total of 300 qustionnaries was handed to the students. Out of those was number 231 usable for research. I tried to examine three hypothesis of this degrese work. The first aim was to determine whether the male gender is more susceptible to racism than the members of female sex. The second target, focused on question where the pupils of sixth to ninth grade (11 15 years old) are learnt and informed about racism, racial prejudice in general. The third objective examined in my study is how children perceive other nationalities whose are coming in together with their positive and negative aspects. |
