| Abstract in different language: | This study briefly outlines church developments in the Bohemian Forest town of Kašperské Hory ending with the events of the Battle of White Mountain. The study focuses in detail on the denominational conditions in this town in the years 1618–1648. It also attempts to describe the period of re-Catholicization, the succession of local spiritual leaders in the town and their relationships with the parishioners, economic problems connected to the chantry or the issue of school teaching during the ongoing Thirty Years’ War. |
