Abstract: Bakalářská práce pojednává o dedukci v detektivní literatuře, tedy konkrétněji detektivů Sherlocka Holmese a Hercula Poirota. Práce se zaměřuje na dedukční postupy, které detektivové používají. Výsledkem práce bude zjištění, zda jsou dané postupy v souladu s dedukcí v moderní logice a metodologií věd.
Abstract in different language: The thesis deals with deduction in detective literature, that is, more specifically, detective Sherlock Holmes and Hercule Poirot. The work focuses on their deductive processes. The result of the work will be detection whether are the procedures in accordance with the deduction in modern logic and methodology of science.
