| Abstract: | Ve své práci se zabývám funkcionalismem ve filosofii mysli a umělé inteligenci. Představen je také problém mysli a těla, na který funkcionalismus reaguje, stejně jako práce Alana Turinga, ze kterých vychází. Krom dvou funkcionalistických děl (Povaha mentálních stavů a Problémy s funkcionalismem) budou představeny i navazující teorie - rozšířená mysl a umělá inteligence. |
| Abstract in different language: | In my thesis I deal with functionalism in the philosophy of mind as well as in artificial intelligence. I also introduce the mind-body problem on which functionalism responds, as well as the work of Alan Turing, from which it originates. Besides two main functionalism works (The Nature of Mental States and Troubles with Functionalism) two following theories are being introduced - extended mind and artificial intelligence. |
