Abstract in different language: This paper describes J-Sim v. 0.1.1, an object-oriented library using the method of pseudoparallel execution for simulation of discrete processes. Being written in Java, J-Sim is a fully portable successor to C-Sim, an already existing C-based library. The concepts used in both libraries are inherited from the Simula language. In this paper, the theoretical background as well as the basic principles of implementation in Java are presented.
