| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá historickými příčinami vedoucími k podpisu Mnichovské dohody dne 29. září 1938. Práce je rozdělena do tří částí. První část se snaží ukázat vývoj vztahů mezi Čechy a Němci od počátků německé kolonizace v Čechách až do roku 1938. Druhá část se zabývá konferencí v Mnichově, podpisem dohody a několika hodinami následujícími bezprostředně po konferenci. Třetí část pak ukazuje nejzávažnější důsledky, které vyplynuly z této události, a to nejen pro tehdejší Československou republiku, ale pro celou Evropu. Práce předkládá pohled současných historiků, ale také pohled na období mezi dvěma světovými válkami očima několika přímých účastníků. Je nejen kompilací, ale také kritickou rešerší současných i dobových děl mnoha autorů, nemá však hodnotící charakter. |
| Abstract in different language: | This Bachelor thesis deals with the historical causes leading to the signing of the Munich Agreement on September 29, 1938. The work is divided into three parts. The first one aims to point out the development of relationship between Czechs and Ger-mans from the beginnings of the German colonization in Bohemia until 1938. The se-cond part focuses on the conference held in Munich, signing of the agreement and seve-ral hours immediately following the conference. The third part shows the most serious consequences which resulted from this event, not only for the former Czechoslovakia but also for whole Europe. The work presents the current view of historians as well as the look at the period between the two world wars through the eyes of several direct participants. It is not just a compilation, but also the critical research of works of many present and contemporary authors, but it is not an evaluation. |
