Abstract: | Předložená diplomová práce je zaměřena na účetní systémy IAS/IFRS a US GAAP. Dále definuje jednotlivé společné projekty Rad IASB a FASB vzniklých během procesu konvergence. Poslední část práce přináší přehledné zpracování nových standardů a novelizací včetně možného vlivu na účetní výkaznictví podniků Evropské unie. Závěr shrnuje problematiku světových účetních systémů a posuzuje nejvýznamnější nově vydané standardy IFRS a jejich dopad na subjekty v Evropské unii. |
Abstract in different language: | The diploma thesis is focused on international accounting standards IAS/IFRS and US GAAP. The first part of the work describes both accounting systems including their origin, evolution over time and the main bodies which have participated in creating standards. The next part analyzes development trends in the aforementioned standards before 2002 and after 2002. The thesis further defines the most important joint projects of IASB and FASB that emerged during the convergence process. The last part of the thesis provides a complex overview of all recently new standards and amendments and assesses their possible impact on financial reporting of European Union companies.
