| Abstrakt: | Práce se zabývá komparací vybraných aspektů tří českých překladů knihy Alenka v říši divů britského spisovatele Lewise Carrolla. První oblastí, na niž se práce při porovnání překladů zaměřuje jsou slovní hříčky, popis jejich podstaty, jejich klasifikace a následné porovnání a zhodnocení konkrétních překladatelských řešení. Druhou oblastí jsou básní a s nimi související intertextuální vztahy. A konečně třetí zkoumanou oblast tvoří lingvoreálie a zhodnocení způsobu a míry jejich naturalizace v analyzovaných překladech. V závěru práce souhrnně hodnotí každý z analyzovaných překladů i s ohledem na jeho vhodnost pro dětského čtenáře. |
| Abstrakt v dalším jazyce: | The thesis focuses on comparison of three Czech translations of Lewis Carrol's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, namely the translation by Jaroslav Císař (1931), Aloys and Hana Skoumalovi (1961) and Vladimír Kučera (2014). The analysis and comparison of aforementioned translations are based on theoretical background of the theory of translation provided in chapter 2 and take into consideration possible problems that can arise during the process of translation both those connected with extralinguistic aspects of the original work and those related to author's specific style. As Alice's Adventures in Wonderland are traditionally considered a work of juvenile literature, aspect of adequacy of the translation for a juvenile reader is kept in mind throughout the thesis. The comparison of Czech translations is provided in three main areas puns, poems and extralinguistic elements. Puns are described and classified on the basis of their core principles (those being mainly polysemy, homonymy, homophony, paronymy and variations on phraseology), individual translations are then compared, and several translations of selected puns are analysed in more depth. Poems are analysed and compared with the main focus on intertextual relations and the forms they take in individual Czech translations. And last but not least in the area of extralinguistic elements, the main accent is put on the extent of naturalization in individual translations; a special subchapter is dedicated to translation of proper nouns. Overall assessment of each of analysed translations is then provided, which focuses not only on the summary of the findings of the previous chapter, but also on overall stylistic, orthographic and typographic qualities of each translation. |
