| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá dílem Douglase Adamse v českých překladech. První část pojednává o autorovi a jeho díle se zaměřením na Stopařova průvodce Galaxií. Jsou zde také vysvětleny základní termíny teorie překladu a nastíněna problematika překladu science fiction, především humoru. V praktické části se teoretické znalosti uplatňují v hodnocení dvou vybraných kapitol z knihy Restaurant na konci vesmíru. Na závěr je doplněn dotazník odpovídající na 3 základní předem dané otázky. |
| Abstract in different language: | This bachelor thesis is dealing with writing of Douglas Adams and its Czech translation. The first part is about the author himself and his work, mainly The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. In the second part of the thesis are explained basic terms of translation theory and issues with translation of science fiction with focus on humour. In the practical part is theoretical knowledge applied in evaluation of two chapters from the book Restaurant at the End of the Universe. At the end of the thesis are results of the survey with answers to three main questions. |
