| Abstract: | V souvislosti s mocenským vzestupem Číny se diskutuje o její roli napříč různými oblastmi. Je proto zajímavé sledovat čínskou roli v kontextu peacekeepingu vzhledem k tomu, že Čína patří mezi největší přispěvatele peacekeepingu. Cílem diplomové práce je komplexní zhodnocení čínské role v proměně a formování peacekeepingu. Analýza se zaměřuje na tři konkrétní oblasti, ve kterých je sledována proměna - peacekeeping, principy a normativní rámec peacekeepingu, peacekeepingové mise. Diplomová práce je případovou studií sestávající ze tří částí. První část je teoretická, druhá část se věnuje čínskému peacekeepingu a třetí část obsahuje analýzu. |
| Abstract in different language: | In connection with the powerful emergence of the People's Republic of China on the world stage, many have been discussing the role it wishes to play in various fields. For this reason, it bears much importance to observe China's role within the framework of peacekeeping in the view of the fact, that China belongs to one of the largest contributors to peacekeeping operations and its growing presence has been felt more considerably. The main aim of this master thesis is best understood as a complex evaluation of China's role in the ever-changing and constantly evolving concept of peacekeeping. The presented analysis focuses on three particular areas - peacekeeping, guiding principles and the normative framework of peacekeeping, as well as peacekeeping operations. This master thesis happens to be a case study consisting of three main parts. First part is theoretical, second part deals with Chinese peacekeeping and third part contains the analysis. |
