| Abstract: | Cílem práce je porovnat, jaký je historický a legislativní vývoj statutárních měst v České republice a jaké problémy současná statutární města musí řešit. Dále se práce zabývá otázkou, zda je pro řízení a správný chod velkých měst důležitá existence městských obvodů a městských částí. |
| Abstract in different language: | The aim of this thesis is to compare the historical and legal development of statutory cities in the Czech Republic as well as the problems that the cities have to tackle. Further on it discusses the question whether the existence of municipal districts is vital to the administration of big cities |
