| Abstract: | Hlavním cílem této bakalářské práce je prostudovat problematiku sporu mezi jazykovým konstruktivismem a realismem a to za pomoci studia relevantní literatury a vytvořením vlastních modelů obou stanovisek. Při práci s literaturo relevantní pro téma realismu a konstruktivismu jsem se soustředil na práce Russella, Wittgensteina, Carnapa či Quina. Srovnávací hledisko mi poskytla Marvanova práce na dané téma. K formulaci vlastní hypotézy a ke konstrukci modelů realistických a konstruktivistických stanovisek jsem použil Tarského koncepce meta-jazyků a bytostné bohatosti jazyka. Při konstrukci modelů jsem pracoval s předpokladem, že nejazyková skutečnost je redukovatelná na určitý jazyk. Aplikací modelů na konstruktivistická, respektive realistická stanoviska jsem chtěl modelovat situaci, která by nastala v případě odstranění problému konverze nejazykové skutečnosti na určitý jazyk. V zásadě se tedy jedná o představení sporu realismu a konstruktivismu na pozadí původního myšlenkového experimentu. Samotné modely považuji za první hrubý pokus jdoucí tímto směrem, který bude v budoucnu zapotřebí precizovat. Neboť výsledky modelací generují překvapivé důsledky, stojí další precizovaní modelů za úvahu. |
| Abstract in different language: | The main objective of this undergraduate thesis is the study of the conflict between constructivism and realism. This is achieved by means of relevant literature review, as well as the creation of my own models for each viewpoint. In the literature review, I concentrated on the works of Russell, Carnap, Quine and others. For a comparative perspective, I turned to Marvan's writings on the topic. For the formulation of the hypothesis itself, and for the construction of the models for the realist and constructivist viewpoints, respectively, I used Tarski's concepts of meta-language and essential richness. I based my models on the assumption that a nonlinguistic reality is reducible to a specific language. Through the application of the models to the constructivist and realist viewpoints, respectively, I intended to emulate the situation where the difficulty of converting a nonlinguistic reality to a specific language is obviated. In principle, the thesis introduces the conflict between realism and constructivism against the background of an original thought experiment. The models themselves are meant to be a first tentative attempt in that general direction, one that may need a further refinement in the future. As the outcome of the modeling results in unexpected conclusions, this further refinement appears potentially warranted. |
