| Abstract: | Cílem diplomové práce bylo charakterizovat texty současné psané publicistiky se zaměřením na prostředky syntaktické kondenzace. Dílčím cílem bylo vymezení pojetí dané problematiky v české odborné literatuře, a to vymezení z pohledu syntaktického a stylistického. Materiálovým základem pro příslušnou analýzu se stalo 80 článků ze dvou rozdílných periodik, a sice z Lidových novin a z Mladé fronty DNES. Kritéria analýzy byla stanovena v souladu s teoretickými poznatky uváděnými v odborných publikacích, především v publikaci Příruční mluvnice češtiny. Na základě výsledků zjištěných rozborem lze shrnout několik základních faktů. Celkem bylo nalezeno 369 kondenzátorů, z nichž byly nejvíce zastoupeny kondenzátory adjektivní. Ačkoliv je za základní postavení rozvitých atributů shodných považována postpozice, analýza potvrdila tendenci klást tyto přívlastkové konstrukce před řídící jméno. Tento fakt dokládá snahu publicistů vyjádřit co nejvíce informací za použití co nejméně výpovědí. Hojně byly rovněž zastoupeny infinitivní kondenzátory, zejména ve funkci objektu. Nebyla nalezena žádná konstrukce přechodníková, analýza tedy dokládá knižní, až archaický příznak tohoto prostředku. |
| Abstract in different language: | The goal of this diploma work was to set aside, characterize and categorize means of sentence condensation included in the daily press. One of the tasks was also defining the concept of sentence condensation in Czech literature. The research was based on analyzing 80 articles from two different kinds of the Czech daily press: Lidové noviny and Mladá fronta DNES. The criteria of the analysis were set up according to the theoretical facts found in appropriate publications, especially Příruční mluvnice češtiny. Based on the results of the analytical part of the work the most important facts can be briefly summarized. In conclusion, 369 constructions were found and classified. The most important feature in journalistic style is using adjectival phrases functioning as attributes. Although the unmarked position of the extended phrases is postposition, journalistic style tends to place them before their head noun to make the sentences shorter. The results of the analysis give evidence that this tendency is still really common in newspaper articles. Another thing is that the infinitive phrases as the means of sentence condensation are also used frequently. The syntactic function of those phrases is usually the one of an object or attribute which is placed after the head noun. |
