| Abstract: | Tématem mé bakálářské práce je Emil Holub a jeho příspěvek k průzkumu Afriky. V mé práci se zaměřuji na jeho život a hlavně na cesty významného cestovatel devatenáctého století. V bakalářské práci podrobně popisuji první i druhou cestu Emila Holuba, které vykonal na jihu afrického kontinentu, na kterém strávil jedenáct let svého života. |
| Abstract in different language: | The topic of my bachelor thesis is Emil Holub and his cotribution to the exploration of Africa. I concentrated my research on his life and especially his voyages of exploration in the nineteenth century. I describe the details of his first and second trip to South Africa, where he spent eleven years. |
