| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá teorií zajišťování malých států jihovýchodní Asie. V teoretické části vymezuji pojem zajišťování dle vybraných autorů - Evelyn Goh, Cheng-Chwee Kuik a dvojice autorů Brocka Tessmana a Wojtka Wolfeho. V praktické části aplikuji teorii zajišťování na dvě vybrané země, konkrétně na Filipíny a Thajsko. Cílem této práce je analyzovat zahraniční politiku těchto dvou zemí ve vztahu ke Spojeným státům amerických a Čínské lidové republice, dominantním mocnostem v regionu. |
| Abstract in different language: | This diploma thesis is focused on hedging theory of small states of Southeast Asia region. The theoretical part describes the concept of hedging theory by chosen authors - Evelyn Goh, Cheng-Chwee Kuik, and Brock Tessman and Wojtek Wolfe. In practical part is heding theory applied on two small states of Southeast Asia region - the Philippines and Thailand. The aim of this thesis is to analyze foreign policy of the Philippines and Thailand towards the United States and People's Democratic Republic of China. |
