| Abstract: | Cieľom mojej bakalárskej práce bolo vytvoriť kolekciu didaktických ilustrácií k nadchádzajúcej knihe Žulové krajiny Středních Čech od českého geológa Václava Cílka. Skladá sa z celostránkových akvarelových ilustrácií zobrazujúcich prírodovedné alebo historické témy, geologických máp alebo schém vytvorených digitálne, a malých čiernobielych tušových ilustrácií. Mojou úlohou bolo spracovať zadania tak, aby splňovali šdandard náučnej ilustrácie. |
| Abstract in different language: | My bachelor's project is called Granite Landscapes of Central Bohemia, and it is a collection of illustrations for didactic purposes. The collection consists of full-page illustrations portraying sceneries based on science or history such as life in flooded quarry, pastures with granite rocks situated in Petrovicko, or baroness Sidonie Nádherná and writer Rainer Maria Rilke. It also includes several geological maps and schemes, depicting granite formations, which were digitally created. Mostly, my work was to somehow recreate old maps or schemes, while retaining their geological accuracy. I also tried to choose pleasing color combinations. Another part that you can find in the collection are small ink illustrations capturing fauna and flora found near granite formations. |
