| Abstract: | Úkolem bakalářské práce bylo vytvoření nového písma. Podnětem pro výběr tématu byl fakt, že typografie je jeden z hlavních prostředků grafického designu. Autorka ve své práci chtěla začít vnímat písmo nejen jako nástroj k předávání informací, ale také do hloubky pochopit jeho konstrukci, pozorovat soulad funkčnosti a harmonie tvaru. Prošla si procesem návrhu autorské abecedy, vyzkoušela si celý postup návrhu písma od počátečních skic a formování tvaru, přes převádění návrhu do digitální podoby ve fonteditoru, až po ukázku užití fontu na akcidenční tiskovině. Nově vzniklé písmo je pojmenované Dana a pro jeho prezentaci byl vytvořen písmový vzorník. Návrh akcidenční tiskoviny za použití této abecedy prokazuje čitelnost fontu a jeho možnost ho kombinovat s jinými písmy. Pro využití písma v praxi byla vytvořena fiktivní událost Czech Fashion Festival, jejíž tématem je design a móda. Mimo kulturní tiskoviny byl vytvořen k akci plakát, balící papír, visačky na oblečení, které se dají použít jako propagační prvek na dárkové tašky a samolepky. |
| Abstract in different language: | The main task of thesis was to create a new font. The motive for choosing the theme was that typography is one of the main means of graphic design. The authoress would like to begin to perceive writing not only as a tool for conveying information, but also in depth to understand its construction, to observe the harmony in between the functionality and the shape. Going through the process of designing the author's alphabet is the most efficient way to master this knowledge. Trying the whole process of designing the font from the initial sketches and shaping, through the transfer of the design into digital form in the font editor, to the demonstration of the use of fonts on the printed press. The newly created font was named Dana and for its presentation was created a booklet. Designing a printable stock using this alphabet demonstrates the font is easily combinable with other fonts. To use the font in practice, authoress created a fictional event Czech Fashion Festival, whose main topic is design and fashion. Outside the cultural press, authoress created a poster, wrapping paper, clothes tags that can be used as promotional elements for gift bags and stickers. |
