| Abstract: | Předkládaná bakalářská práce je zaměřena na geografické aspekty lesního hospodářství na příkladu Lesní správy Plasy. Teoretická část pojednává o lesním hospodářství z hlediska krajinné ekologie, historické geografie a udržitelného rozvoje. V praktické části jde zejména o nastínění přehledu dostupných zahraničních studií, mapových a datových zdrojů týkajících se lesního hospodářství. Na závěr je vytvořena analýza a vyhodnocení přírodních podmínek pro lesní hospodářství na území Lesní správy Plasy. Daná oblast je zhodnocena jako spíše nevyhovující, jelikož ve zdejší krajině převládají chudé a písčité půdy, značné sucho způsobené srážkovým deficitem. Jednoznačně největším problémem ovlivňujícím hospodaření a stav lesa jsou přemnožené stavy některých druhů spárkaté zvěře, které zde působí značné škody. Je provedena také analýza časových řad zobrazující vývoj výměry lesních ploch, těžbu dřeva, působení abiotických a biotických vlivů na území Lesní správy Plasy. Téma lesní hospodářství je dnes často zmiňováno v souvislosti se změnou klimatu a s kůrovcovými kalamitami, nicméně z hlediska geografického zájmu je téměř opomenuto. |
| Abstract in different language: | This bachelor thesis is focused on the geographical aspects of forestry on the example of Forest Management in Plasy. The theoretical part deals with forest management in the light of landscape ecology, historical geography and sustainable development. In the practical part there is mainly written about available foreign, map and data sources connected with forestry. In conclusion there is created the analysis and evaluation of the natural conditions for forest management in the area of Forest Management in Plasy. The area is judged as rather unsatisfactory because in the landscape there dominate poor and sandy soils and significant drought which is caused by the precipitation deficit. Undoubtedly, among the biggest issues affecting the management and condition of the forest belong the proliferating numbers of certain species of cloven-hoofed animals that cause significant damage. Furthermore, the time series analysis is also performed and it shows the development of the forest area, timber harvesting and functioning of abiotic and biotic influences in the territory of Forest Management in Plasy. Today, the topic of the forest management is often mentioned in connection with the climate change and bark beetle calamities; however, from the point of view of geographical interest it is almost omitted. |
