| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem životních podmínek židovské komunity na území dnešního Španělska v období středověku. Zahrnuje dobu konce římského impéria, vzniku a stabilizace vizigótského království, až po vpád arabských kmenů a stabilizace jejich vlády v cordobském chalífátu, čemuž časově odpovídá doba od 4. století do století 11. Soustředí se na specifika soužití židovských obyvatel s příslušníky jiného vyznání a dopad změny, kterou pro Židy znamenala přechod od křesťanských Vizigótů pod vládu islámských Umajjovců. |
| Abstract in different language: | This thesis deals with the living conditions of the Jewish community in contemporary Spain in the middle Ages. It covers the period of the end of the Roman Empire, the formation and stabilization of Visigoths Kingdom, the invasion of Arab tribes and to their stabilization of governments in the of Cordoba Caliphate, which corresponds to the time period from 4th century to 11th century. It concentrates on the specific relations between the Jews and the members of other faiths and impact of the change, which meant a move for the Jews from the Christian Visigoths dominion to Umayyad Islamic government. |
