| Abstract: | Práce pojednává o bitvě u Jutska, která se odehrála z 31. května na 1. června 1916 a jejím spornému výsledku. Dále se věnuje popisu nejdůležitějších událostí a střetů, ke kterým na moři před bitvou došlo. Rovněž rozebírá síly Velké Británie a Německa před bitvou a po ní. Finálně popisuje reakce obou velmocí na výsledek bitvy a jaký měla vliv na další válčení na moři. |
| Abstract in different language: | The thesis discusses the Battle of Jutland, which took place from 31 May to 1 June 1916, and its debatable outcome. It goes on to describe the most important events and clashes that occurred at sea before the battle. It also discusses the forces of Great Britain and Germany before the battle and after it. Finally, it describes the reactions of the two powers to the outcome of the battle and how it affected future warfare at sea. |
