| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce pojednává o Spolku přátel vědy a literatury české v Plzni, který vstoupil do dějin města Plzně kulturně-osvětová organizace působící v poslední čtvrtině 19. století a první polovině dvacátého století. Autor cílí zejména na zpřehlednění základní faktografie, dějinný soupis i organizační strukturu sdružení. Podrobně jsou pojaty zejména části chronologického líčení dějin a zajímavosti. Jsou zmíněny i nejvýznamnější osobnosti spolkového života a jejich konkrétní počiny nebo aktivity. V pozadí nestojí ani shrnutí přínosů či širších souvislostí ve vztahu k Plzni a okolí. |
| Abstract in different language: | This diploma thesis discusses the Association of Friends of Science and Czech Literature in Pilsen, which entered the history of Pilsen as a cultural and educational organization operating in the last quarter of the 19th century and the first half of the 20th century. The author's primary aim is to clarify the basic factual account, the historical inventory and the organizational structure of the association. A chronological account of history and points of interest are covered in particular detail. The most important personalities in the association and their specific achievements and activities are also mentioned. The thesis also provides a summary of the benefits or broader context in relation to Pilsen and its surrounding area. |
