Abstract in different language: | The Ocean offers the last wildlife in the world. It is a mysterious and undiscovered place, which includes so much beauty, colors, unusual shapes, and extraordinary forms of life. Every organism is somehow unique - its way of life, color, shape, duplicating, masking, killing, etc. I wanted to show these beautiful things, which we are mostly just imagine and which are very often hidden from us. At least I created a series of 6 authorial pieces of jewelry, which was inspired by Pelagia noctiluca and Leafy seadragon. For pieces of jewelry are inspired by Pelagia noctiluca - bracelet, two necklaces and one brooch. All of them are made of silicon and they are able to shine in the dark. This effect represents bioluministation, which is the ability of Pelagia. Another two pieces are inspired by Leafy seadragon. This animal accommodated its body for living deep down in the Ocean, next to the algae. I found an inspiration in its characteristic swim fins |
