Abstract:	Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na nejstarší české světce: Ludmilu, Václava, Vojtěcha a Prokopa. Zkoumá jejich životní osudy zobrazené nejstaršími legendami, komparuje jednotlivé hagiografické památky a analyzuje podoby konverzí, které všichni podstoupili. Zároveň vyzdvihuje tyto čtyři osobnosti a upozorňuje na trvající literární a historickou hodnotu jednotlivých legend.
Abstract in different language:	The diploma thesis focuses on the oldest Bohemian saints: St Ludmila, Wenceslaus, Adalbert and Procopius. It explores their lives as they are depicted in the oldest legends, compares individual hagiographical texts and analyses the conversions these saints have undergone. The thesis also highlights the importance of these historical figures and emphasises the lasting literary and historical value of the individual legends.
