| Abstract: | Tato práce se zaměřuje na téma Parmenidovy ontologie a kosmologie a jejich provázanosti, kterou lze pozorovat právě v pojetí struktury univerza u tohoto filozofa. Práce je členěna do čtyř kapitol. První kapitola se zaobírá historickým kontextem a možným původem Parmenidových filozofických myšlenek. Druhá kapitola se pak soustředí na Parmenidovu báseň a vztah jeho ontologie a kosmologie. Třetí kapitola pak zaměřuje svou pozornost na zákonitosti Parmenidovy kosmologické nauky o rovnováze dvou prvotních elementů světla a tmy. Čtvrtá kapitola pak zkoumá samotnou strukturu Parmenidova univerza, postavením jeho jednotlivých částí a Parmenidovy objevy v oblasti kosmologie - zejména teorii kulové Země a osvětlování Měsíce Sluncem. |
| Abstract in different language: | This thesis focuses on Parmenides' ontology and cosmology and their relation that becomes evident in Parmenides' conception of the structure of the universe. The thesis is divided into four chapters. Chapter One aims at the historical context and the possible origin of Parmenides' philosophical ideas. Chapter Two then focuses on Parmenides' poem and the relation between his ontology and cosmology. Chapter Three focuses its attention on the principles of Parmenides' cosmological ideas, that consider crucial the balance between the two primary elements, Light and Night. Chapter Four deals with the structure of Parmenidean universe, the position of the particular parts of the universe and Parmenides' cosmological discoveries - especially the theory of the Earth as a sphere and the Moon getting its light from the Sun. |
