| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce popisuje důvody odchodu amerických vojsk z vietnamské války mezi lety 1968 - 1973. Odchod těchto vojsk je zohledněn na základě mezinárodního kontextu. Je zde zkoumán mezinárodní postoj politických aktérů včetně Organizace spojených národů v šedesátých letech dvacátého století k válce ve Vietnamu. Důležitým mezníkem války ve Vietnamu je ofenzíva Tet, která se rovněž stala předmětem této studie. V polední části je popsán průběh mírových jednání v Paříži a následný odchod amerických vojsk z Vietnamu v roce 1973. |
| Abstract in different language: | Bachelor thesis give reasons of withdrawal of the U.S. troops from the Vietnam War between the years 1968 - 1973. The withdrawal of the U.S. troops is taken into account the international context. There is explored attitude towards of political actors including the United Nations in the sixties of the twentieth century to the Vietnam War. Important milestone of the Vietnam War is Tet offensive which also examines. The last part describes the peace talks in Paris and the subsequent withdrawal of the U.S. troops from Vietnam in 1973. |
